How to Help Managers Deal with Excuses?

BUSY IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR MISSING COMMITMENTS

We're all busy.

Busy is not an excuse.

it's not a reason.

It's not justification.

But too many people and organizations believe 'busy' is a viable reason for not achieving commitments to one another.

And then, when you're the one who holds people accountable to commitments they think you have four heads.

If you make a commitment, you've made one. Done.

What reasons do your team members give for missing commitments?

Do managers model busy?

Do managers model reasons for not getting their work done?

Or, do managers model keeping their word?

There are very specific methods available for:

  • Managing busy and still getting the work done
  • Managing others to ensure their work is completed when they say it will be

Each challenge you face is just an opportunity to learn.

When you coach with me, you will become a resilient master of accountability and dealing with the difficult responsibilities that come with managing people.

Today is the last to day join.

Are you coming?
