Our judgements about our employees' behaviors are not relevant.

The IMPACT of their behavior is what is relevant.

As managers we must address behaviors that impact individual, team and organizational results.

It really is a huge part of our job.

But, most of us are super uncomfortable doing so.

So, we often fall into the trap of giving feedback and managing others from our opinion of their behavior.

Our opinion isn't what matters.

What does matter?

How they label their own behavior AND what they choose to do about it.

As managers your role is to hold employees accountable for their results, both from a production and behavior standpoint.
